Giving mortals the power of the Gods was a mistake, Ivory - The God of Giving – had experienced, but instead of swallowing their pride and rolling back, they made Sable - The God of Taking - help them to create Seven creatures, the Sins, that shall bring back balance between Gods, Mortals and Chi - the Stream of Life.
Centuries passed by and the Sins grew tired of fulfilling their purpose of taking care of mortals and instead started living like them. One of them even dared to wish for a mortal life, and with the help of a friend he may even get it granted. But on their journey to find a cure, they realised their destiny was entangled with something no one was prepared for.
The power of the Gods, controlling the Stream of Life, was never completely forgotten but carried within the hearts of those who sought to escape the obedience of the invisible hand that was steering them.

Sable & Ivory

Once there was emptiness.
This monotony was burst off when two Gods were brought into the silence to lead the emptiness into light and darkness. That was when the worlds were formed by the Sable and the Ivory.
Both Gods were supposed to preserve the balance of the never-ending circle of life. One bound to the creation of beauty and harmony while the other was obliged to take it.Once there was balance.
But it was just another monotony which was supposed to be shattered when the Sable and the Ivory shaped mankind to bring their world to life. This new life quickly settled down into their new habitat.
But there was something the Sable didn't know: Ivory gave a few of their new creations a part of their own power. Against all expectation the new life grew faster, and those few inherited with power of Ivory, gained immemorial influence in the once balanced nature.Once there was chaos.
The monotony vanished entirely when the Sable wasn't capable of reducing the stream of life anymore. It seemed to devour everything else on their once peaceful world. Admitting their fault, both Gods brought seven creatures in human form to life. Those Seven were supposed to bring back the balance which couldn't be restored by the Gods alone.
Each with a special ability to lure the doomed into the arms of silence.
